One hour down 39 to go

This 172 looks almost like the one I flew today

Today I did an intro flight with Mach 5 in Auburn CA. The one hour intro flight counts toward the 40 hour minimum for a private pilots certificate. It was a very good flight. We left AUN and flew over he forest hill bridge toward Sacramento. the air was very smooth. Almost as soon as we were airborne I culd see Camp Far west lake. That surprised me. We flew to Lincoln airport and then did a touch and go. On our way back to Auburn we flew over Pine Hills Adventist Academy. It was a good flight. The flight had just the right amount of turbulence and smooth sailing to make it a great flight.
 One thing I liked about M5 Aviation was how willing they are to explain things to you. this morning it was overcast so Jeremiah, my CFI, spent almost an hour and a half explaining pre-flight procedures to me.
